Our air conditioned classroom / studio offers over 900 sq. ft. of work space with color-corrected lighting, in addition to four large skylights. Electrical floor outlets are on dedicated circuitry to protect computerized sewing machines from surges caused by cycling irons.

We’ve even provided a powered lift, so there’s no need to carry your luggage or sewing machine upstairs! The only thing you need to do is relax and enjoy your quilting vacation!

 

Rocking chairs await you on the covered porch overlooking the green Orting City Park. Let the beauty of a Northwest sunrise inspire you as you sip your morning coffee, or tend to your needlework as the sunset offers up a prismatic color play on Mt. Rainier. In the wintertime, snuggle up to the parlor stove and enjoy a steaming cup of hot cocoa in the company of your quilting friends.

We're right on the Historic Foothills Trail, so bring your walking shoes and enjoy a stroll along the river! The nearest Curves ™ is just a half-block away. So if you're a Curves member, be sure to bring your travel pass! Or, for those who prefer biking, there's a bicycle rental shop on our block.

 

With full kitchen facilites you can cook your own meals or choose from one of the many near by restaurants or have meals delivered in. What more could you ask? The choices are all yours!

We’d love to arrange a private getaway for you and your group, but we also have shop-hosted retreats throughout the year. Keep an eye on our event schedule for more information.
