OH THE COOLEST STUFF IS COMING UP!!

MAY IS PARTY MONTH AT THE WILD ROSE!

We've decided to make May our party month. The Spring 2011 issue of Quilt Sampler is here and it's time to party!. We're one of the Top 10 Featured Shops! (how cool is that?) Celebrate with us on Saturday May 21 from 10am - 4pm. Our quilt that's featured in the magazine will be on display and kits will be available. We have a second color option for our quilt (aptly called "Mountain Rose") which will also be hanging in the shop. Oh yes, kits for that one will be available too.

We've got demos planned, goodies to nibble on and fun things to do. We'll even sign a copy of Quilt Sampler for you!

WESTERN WASHINGTON QUILT SHOP HOP IS

JUNE 22-26, 2011

Join the fun and festivities of the 13th Annual Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop in June. It's a non-stop hop-til-you-drop Shop Hop that has got to be one of the biggest (or is it the biggest?) quilt shop hops in the country. Over 50 shops in western Washington participate in the 5-day event. The Shop Hop brochure with maps and each shop's ad is available for free in our shop. You can download and print your own passport (which is preferable, saving each shop a bundle of money on photocopying!) from the Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop website.

Like last year, we'll be having a 5-day whoop-de-doo good time with Sheriff John, the Wild Rose Deputies and our town floozie Goldie Rush. Did I mention that we always have a great time making new friends during Shop Hop? Oh yeah......

JOIN US FOR ANOTHER MURDER MYSTERY QUILT RETREAT AT THE WILD ROSE!

Woohoooo! Michigan instructor Sherri Jacqua is coming out again for another Murder Mystery Retreat at The Wild Rose. You will be deputized as investigators by Inspector QuiltSew, and work with the good Inspector to solve a heinous crime committed at The Wild Rose. And you'll be working on one of Sherri's original mystery quilt patterns while you're solving a murder. So much to do, so little time! :)

Join us on Monday September 26 through Wednesday September 28 for fabulous fun, friendship (meet new quilting friends), fabric and food. Life is good!

The cost is $240 for the 3 day/2 night retreat plus the Inspector's own quilt pattern, 2 Continental breakfasts and 2 dinners. Fabric is not included in this price.

Kits will be available for Sherri's quilt top and I haven't gotten the final details from her regarding fabric requirements. Kit price is still to be determined.

Grab a friend or come by yourself. We had soooo much fun at last year's Murder Mystery (called "Storm Over Mt. Rainier") and Sheriff John ended up arresting the suspect at the end of the retreat. Everyone laughed themselves silly and we promised to do it again.
